GENERAL BOOKING & BILLING
Q: How can I book an appointment?A: You can book online through our JaneApp portal, by phone at +1 (437) 606-9201, or by email at massage@knottedwellness.ca. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
Q: Do you offer direct billing to insurance?
A: Yes, we offer direct billing for most major insurance providers. Please bring your insurance information to your first appointment.
MASSAGE THERAPY
Q: What types of massage therapy do you offer?A: We offer various modalities, including Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Swedish Relaxation, Pre & Post Pregnancy, TMJ-Intraoral Massage.
Q: Do I need a doctor's referral for massage therapy?
A: A referral isn't required to book, but some insurance plans may request one for reimbursement. Check with your provider.
TMJ INTRA-ORAL MASSAGE
Q: What is TMJ intra-oral massage?A: TMJ intra-oral massage is a specialized technique targeting the muscles inside the mouth to alleviate tension and pain associated with temporomandibular joint disorders. This therapy can help reduce jaw pain, headaches, and improve jaw mobility.
Q: Is intra-oral massage safe and comfortable?
A: Yes, the therapist uses gloved hands to gently massage the internal jaw muscles. While it may feel unusual initially, most clients find relief after the session.
CUPPING THERAPY
Q: What is cupping therapy?A: Cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, which draws underlying tissues upward. This technique aims to stimulate blood flow, promote healing, and alleviate various conditions such as muscle tension, pain, and inflammation.

FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY
